Why am I experiencing system crashes when using Cinema 4D on Apple Silicon?

This issue has been reported by several users running on Apple Silicon hardware and macOS 14.4 or 14.4.1.

We've received news that Apple has addressed this issue in their 14.5 update.

If you are running macOS 14.4 or 14.4.1, please update to macOS 14.5 to see if this issue has been resolved.
