How does the upgrade system work?

With your Redshift Subscription, you have instant access to any new Redshift versions and can install any version released after Aug 30, 2021.

Legacy perpetual users are eligible to purchase an extension of their current maintenance contract within 3 months prior or 1 year following expiration, until Aug 31, 2023. Users with an active maintenance contract are also eligible to download and use any new Redshift releases. Eligible maintenance can be extended via the user portal at my.maxon.net.

Please note, Redshift Maintenances are being discontinued and will not be able to be extended past August 31st 2023.
