Redshift Experimental Support for NVIDIA Blackwell (RTX 50XX Series) GPUs

Redshift does not currently provide official support for NVIDIA’s Blackwell series GPUs, including RTX 5080 and RTX 5090. However, starting from Redshift version 2025.2.2, we are offering experimental builds with preliminary support for these GPUs.

Experimental builds will continue to be provided alongside each official Redshift release until full support is integrated.

System Requirements

• Redshift version: Experimental builds from 2025.2.2 and later.
• NVIDIA graphic driver: Minimum version 572.16.

Important Notes

• Experimental builds are intended for testing purposes and may not offer final production stability or performance.
• Full Blackwell support will be included in a future official release.
• For the same reason, Cinebench 2024 is also unable to perform GPU tests with these GPUs.
