I assigned a user a floating license but they cannot access the license

If you're a Team's Admin and have assigned a floating license to a user but they’re still unable to access it, here are a few things to review.

First, if the license is a floating license, it may already be in use by another team member. To check this, ask the user to log in to my.maxon.net and navigate to the Licenses tab. If the license appears but the Available column shows 0, this means the license is assigned correctly but is currently being used by someone else.

Screenshot 2025-05-22 at 12.33.05 PM.pngTo confirm who is using the license, go to the License Usage page in your Teams Dashboard. There, you can see all active license usage and, if needed, click Release next to a user to make a license available.

Once a license has been released, the user can log back in to my.maxon.net, click the Licenses tab, and they should now see the license available to them.

From there, the user can now log into the Maxon App and access the license!
