If you are facing an issue where the Teams Dashboard Invitation is stating it's not valid for the user, please try the following:
1. Go to my.maxon.net and login as the user being invited into the Team.
2. Go back to the original Dashboard Invitation email.
3. Attempt to accept the invitation again, while logged into my.maxon.net with that user ID.
If you are still having troubles, the Teams Dashboard Admin can delete the invitation through the Dashboard and try again. Come into Support if you require more assistance.
