Maxon One Student License: Eligibility, Application, and other FAQs

Who is eligible for the Maxon One Student License?

• The Maxon One Student License is available to all university and college students aged 16 and above who do not currently hold a valid commercial subscription, and have not bought a commercial license before.
• The Maxon One Student License is intended for personal learning purposes by students enrolled in accredited universities, colleges, or educational institutions.

What does Maxon One Student include?

• Maxon One Student provides access to a comprehensive creative suite, including Cinema 4D, Red Giant, Redshift, ZBrush, ZBrush for iPad, Capsules Limited, and Maxon training resources.

What information/document(s) do I need to provide as a student?

• First name and Last name as shown on school records
• Birthdate
• School name
• School email
• School-issued documentation that shows your showing current enrollment

What do I need to purchase the Maxon One Student License?

• To purchase the Maxon One Student License, you must currently be a student.
• You may need to provide your student ID or other educational proof for verification purposes.
• During the verification process, you'll need a mobile phone and an official ID document (such as an ID or passport or driver's license) to verify your identity.

How long is the Maxon One Student License valid?

• The Maxon One Student License is valid for one year from the date of payment.

How do I renew after the first year?

• This license will not auto-renew. You will receive an email before the license expiry, and you will need to reverify your student status to be able to repurchase the student license.

Are there any limitations to using Maxon One Student?

• Maxon One can only be activated on one computer at a time.

What is the pricing structure for the Maxon One Student License?

• The Maxon One Student License is a one-time charge and remains valid for one year from the date of purchase.

What do I do if I get an error/ issue during my verification process?

• SheerID only handles the verification process. If you encounter problem or issue during verifying your identity or student verification SheerID only handles the verification process please contact Contact SheerID's support team to troubleshoot or confirm your eligibility.

What happens if the license is misused for commercial purposes?

• Any suspected commercial or other misuse of the Maxon One Student License may result in the immediate termination of the license.
