Why am I getting a license error when I try to render with Redshift CPU?

Problem:

One cause we've found was due to having a perpetual Cinema 4D license in the same account as your subscription license. Perpetual licenses do not include Redshift CPU, while subscription licenses do.


Solution:

This issue has been fixed with the Maxon App version 2024.4 (released May 29th, 2024). Please update if you are using an older version of the Maxon App and have a Cinema 4D perpetual license in your account.
