How to Perform a Clean Installation of the NVIDIA GPU Driver

Some users have resolved rendering or viewport-related issues by performing a clean installation of their GPU driver. This process removes remnants of previous driver installations, which may sometimes affect stability or performance.
 

Important: Updating or reinstalling a GPU driver is a system-level operation and may affect other applications or system stability. Save your work and close all applications before proceeding. Steps:

1. Download the latest NVIDIA driver
   Visit the official NVIDIA driver download page and download the appropriate driver for your system.
2. Run the installer
   Launch the downloaded '.exe' file.
3. Select Custom (Advanced) Installation
   On the installation options screen, choose Custom (Advanced).
4. Enable Clean Installation
   Check Perform a clean installation to fully reset driver settings.
5. Complete the installation and restart
   Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation and reboot your system if prompted.
