With the exception of Cinema 4D on Macs, all products can be uninstalled by selecting Uninstall next to their listings on the Products tab of the Maxon App.
If you haven't got the Maxon App installed, you can manually remove their files by following this guide.
Follow the steps below for a more in-depth guide for either scenario.
To uninstall products using the Maxon App:
- Head to the Products tab:
- Select Uninstall next to whichever products you'd like to remove.
- If files remain on your system after uninstallation, you can use the uninstaller located in these folders:
- Windows: Program files > Maxon > Tools (must be run as an admin)
- Mac: Library > Application Support > Maxon > Tools
To uninstall products without using the Maxon App:
- For Windows
- Head into the Start menu
- Search
Add or Remove Programs - Locate the Maxon products in the list for uninstallation
- Select Uninstall from the Maxon product's right-hand menu
- For Mac
- To uninstall Cinema 4D, ZBrush, and Redshift:
- Open your Applications folder via a Finder window
- Drag and drop the program into the trash
- To uninstall Red Giant plug-ins, you will need to manually remove the plugin files from the directory of whichever compatible host applications you have on your system.
- Open a Finder window
- From the top menu bar select Go > Go to Folder
- Type or paste in the file path(s) for whichever host programs Red Giant was installed into
- Final Cut Pro/Motion
/Library/Plug-ins/FxPlug//Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins//Applications/Red Giant FxPlug/

- Delete any Red Giant plugins located here
- Repeat for any other host applications on your system
- To uninstall Cinema 4D, ZBrush, and Redshift:
