By default, Cinema 4D 2025.3.2 will install to the folder “Maxon Cinema 4D 2025” and will replace any installation already there. This is intentional in order to minimize the number of builds customers need to manage, minimize migration of prefs and plugins, reduce overall disk usage and help ensure you’re always on the latest release. You can of course customize the installation path if you’d like to maintain a separate installation of each dot release. If you need a prior release installer, visit the Downloads page.

System Requirements remain the same as C4D 2025.0, except for the following two changes:

  • Minimum supported Windows 10 version is now 22H2
  • AI Search is not supported on Intel Macs.

This release will include Redshift 2025.6 - older versions are compatible but will not include enhancements to Redshift integration and performance.

Bug Fixes

Asset Browser

  • Fixed an issue with the Details Section where it was displayed incorrectly.

  • Fixed an issue with the Databases Section where it was displayed incorrectly.

Hair

  • Fixed a stability issue with Redshift when using the Hair Comb and Redshift IPR together.

Interface

  • Fixed an issue with the Redshift Shader where collapsing any category caused the UI to become misaligned.

Materials

  • Fixed a stability issue where a missing material thumbnail could cause a crash

Modeling

  • Fixed a stability issue when using polygons with negative indices.

  • Fixed an issue with the Bevel Tool drag step size that was incorrect in Points mode.

  • Fixed an issue with Connect Points/Edges on single edges.

  • Fixed an issue with edge selections when using Invert Selection.

Mograph

  • Fixed a refresh issue with Deformer and Generator does not update correctly

Objects

  • Fixed an issue when using the Weld Option and Helix + Connect Object

Other

  • Fixed some stability issues where Cinema4D crashed unexpectedly

Simulation

  • Fixed an issue with Liquids where Target Density displayed incorrectly as Mass Density

  • Fixed an issue with Fluid Particle Size where it was unaffected by changes in scene scale

  • Fixed an issue where Liquid Mesh was not rendered in specific situations

  • Fixed an issue with Liquid Collisions where they did not work as expected

  • Fixed an issue with the Liquid fill emitter caused by a previous fix for the mesh emitter

Timeline

  • Fixed a performance issue with the Timeline where Cinema 4D became unresponsive with a lot of keyframes.

  • Fixed an issue where hiding objects in the Timeline did not take effect

  • Fixed a stability issue in the Timeline with linked preview ranges causing a crash

UV Tools

  • Fixed an issue with exporting Alembic where broken UV shells were produced in Maya.

Viewport

  • Fixed a stability issue with mirrored polygons when selected in 4 views mode.

  • Fixed an issue with the Viewport where Normal Tags were displayed incorrectly.

  • Fixed a refresh issue where Pyro was not displayed or updated correctly in the Redshift RenderView

XREFS

  • Fixed an issue with XRefs where scenes from 2025.2 did not work in 2025.3.
