Error 11025 typically occurs when an installation could not complete because of a restrictive security component (e.g. antivirus, proxy, firewall, etc.).
Ensuring you're signed in as an administrator and have configured or disabled any restrictive software components prior to installation usually resolves the error.
Follow these steps for a more detailed guide:
- Restart your system to stop and start any necessary background processes
- Ensure you are logged in with an administrator account on your Mac
- Temporarily disable any third party security components
- This can include:
- Antivirus applications
- Firewalls
- VPNs
- Proxies
- Because the steps for disabling or configuring these components varies per software developer, you'll need to consult with their resources if you need guidance on this step.
- This can include:
- Download and run the installer from the bottom of our Downloads page
If those steps still fail, try once more, but clean any Maxon App components you have on your system first using the steps below, which may have incomplete or residual files leftover from failed installation attempts.
