Problem: In some cases, when using Team Render Server, the final rendered image's color may be incorrect compared to your local Cinema 4D renders or even using Team Render directly in Cinema 4D.
Solution: We've identified a workaround by switching Cinema 4D's color space to Legacy mode, which activates Redshift's own Color Management settings and allows you to control the color space directly within Redshift. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
How to Fix Incorrect Color Rendering
- Open Project Settings by going to Edit > Project Settings from the Cinema 4D menu (Windows: Ctrl+D / macOS: Cmd+D).
- Navigate to the Color Management tab.
- Click the Change Render Space... button to open the Convert Render Space window.
-
In the New Render Space dropdown, select Legacy (sRGB linear workflow) and click OK.
See the screenshot below for reference:
- Open Render Settings by going to Render > Render Settings from the Cinema 4D menu (Windows: Ctrl+B / macOS: Cmd+B).
- In the left panel, ensure Redshift is selected as the renderer.
- Click the Advanced button, then select the Globals tab.
-
Scroll down to the Color Management section. This section is now active because of the Legacy color space change made in Step 1.

- Important: If you had previously selected a custom color space in Cinema 4D, you will need to manually update the Rendering Color Space setting here in Redshift to match.
- Save your Cinema 4D project file.
- Submit your render job to Team Render Server.
- Your renders should now display with consistent, correct colors matching your local Cinema 4D output.
