What’s new

This update focuses on stability, reliability and workflow polish across the app. Expect fewer crashes, smoother editing with shapes and effects, and small UX improvements that make everyday work faster and more predictable.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed broken rendering on Windows when exporting VHD (NVENC H.264 MP4) compositions.
  • Resolved issues where Close/1st Point tools could destroy paths or crash when feather points were present, and corrected 3D Extrude on Fill Shapes to respect fill rules when all paths share the same winding direction.
  • Fixed a crash when enabling the Visual Stack with certain effects (Erode/Dilate/Blur), and corrected a case where the Modifiers row in the Overview panel could appear empty after removing/adding a modifier.
  • Fixed losing PSD layers after clearing cache (“Could not find requested part”) and a convert-from-PSD issue that broke gizmos and layer in/out points.
  • Fixed a crash and severe slowdown when applying OpenFX plugins (e.g., Magic Bullet Looks + Texturize Motion) to a source layer, and a crash on project open when Real Lens Flares used a layer-based obscuration set to “This Layer.”
  • Restored drag-and-drop of paths from the Inspector to the Parenting panel, prevented the app window from shrinking when moved between monitors, and added a prompt to create an Audio Mix when dropping audio onto the timeline.

Known Issues

  • Changing the Smooth Angle parameter on a Text layer with 3D mode and Extrude enabled may cause Autograph to crash.

We’re actively working on fixes, thanks for your patience!
