Cinema 4D and the other Maxon applications on Windows rely on a set of shared Microsoft components called the Visual C++ Runtime Libraries. Most Windows software built with Microsoft's tools uses them, and Windows keeps a single copy that every one of those programs shares.

How to install it
- Close Cinema 4D if it is open.
- Click the download link above, then open your Downloads folder and double-click
vc_redist.x64.exe. - Windows asks for permission to make changes. Click Yes.
- Tick the license box, click Install, then Close. If the window offers Repair and Uninstall instead of Install, click Repair. Your PC already has this package, and Repair puts back any damaged files.
- Restart your PC.

0x80070666 means a newer copy is already on your PC, so there is nothing for this installer to do. Close the window and restart.
