Where can I get Unmult?

There are two available versions of Unmult:

• The latest version of Unmult is in Universe, Red Giant Complete, and Maxon One subscriptions.
• The older version was Unmult 1.1, which is free, was maintained from ~2014-2017, and is in the Unmult1-1.zip file below.

For Unmult 1.1, place the downloaded file in:

• Mac:

   \Library\Application Support\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\

• Win:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\

Note that neither of the versions of Unmult are compatible with one another.

This means if a project says it's missing Unmult even after installing one of the versions above, you will need to try installing the other version to resolve the issue.

Older versions of Unmult are not compatible with Apple Silicon (M1, etc.) hardware.

They may also not open in newer versions of Mac OS X, as Mac cannot identify the developer of older files. This can sometimes be circumvented by right-clicking the file and selecting Open, then opening the file with After Effects.

Even though After Effects may kick back an error message after this step, the plugin might then operate normally once you try using it in your projects.
