How do I move my subscription between computers?

You can assign your license to any machine provided you have the Maxon App and a valid license. Note that:

• A license can only be used on one machine at a time.
• The Maxon App can be installed on as many machines as you'd like.
• Having the Maxon App on multiple machines allows you to move your license to any computer that has the Maxon App installed. 

To Assign a license from a machine:

1. Click the My Licenses tab on the left-hand side.
   
2. Click Assign across from the license you wish to assign to the machine.
   
   • If a license has already been assigned to another machine and you wish to move it to this one, you can click Transfer instead, which will remove it from the other machine remotely.
     

To Release a license from a machine:

• Locally, through the Maxon App:
  1. Click the My Licenses tab on the left-hand side.
     
  2. Click Release across from the license you wish to release from the machine.
     
     • If you wish to both release and assign the license at the same time, you can click Transfer instead, which will remove it from the other machine remotely and assign it to your current machine.
       
• Remotely, from another machine:
  1. Sign into your Maxon account here.
  2. Click Release under the Manage column to release the license remotely.
