Why does Moves not connect with Cinema 4D?

There are three things to check when troubleshooting why Moves won't connect with Cinema 4D:

1. Make sure  "Announce Service to Local Network" in the Cinema 4D Preferences is activated. Review this section of the User Guide for more guidance. 
2. Ensure both machines are on the same Wifi network. The connection between Moves and Cinema 4D will be automatic when your iOS device and computer are on the same Wifi network. Having a computer attached only via Ethernet cable will not work.
3. Enable access to Moves to the Network inside your iOS settings.
   

If either of those components were adjusted and the connection still doesn't occur:

1. Restart your iOS device by shutting it off and turning it on.
2. Quit Moves. For more information on how to quit an app, review this FAQ.
3. Relaunch Moves by opening it again.
