Error: The invitation is not valid for the active user

If you are facing an issue where the Teams Dashboard Invitation is stating it's not valid for the user, try following these steps:

  • Solution 1: Ensure the correct user is logged into my.maxon.net
    1. Go to my.maxon.net and login as the user being invited into the Team. 
    2. Go back to the original Dashboard Invitation email. 
    3. Accept the invitation again while logged into my.maxon.net with that user ID. 
  • Solution 2: Have the Teams Dashboard Admin delete the invitation through the Dashboard and try again.

If neither of those solutions help, contact Support.
