(Windows) Maxon App install fails with the 11015 error when an "&" (Ampersand) symbol/character is in Windows Username

When installing Maxon App or any of our software within on Windows, you may run into this Installation Failed - Status 11015 error.

 

If you get this error, please try the following workaround while our team digs into resolving this issue:

  • Create a new user account without & in the account name and log into this new account
  • Then install Maxon App while logged into this new account
  • Once Maxon App is installed, go ahead and log back into the original account to continue to use Maxon App
