This error may appear when installing the Maxon App or any of our software on a Windows system when an ampersand (&) is present in the username, If you get this error, try following these steps:
- Create a new user account without & in the account name and log into this new account
- Install the Maxon App while logged into this new account
- Once Maxon App is installed, log back into the original account and continue to using the Maxon App
This is a known issue that our installer team is checking into remedying with an update.
