Changing your Pixologic ZBrush ID email requires you to first make adjustments on your Maxon account, followed by contacting Maxon Support to finalize the process.
The specific steps and adjustments are outlined below:
-
Update your Maxon account's email to your new email address. For verification purposes, you must be logged into Maxon using the same email address associated with your ZBrush legacy licenses, which are shown under the Legacy Licenses section of my.maxon.net.
- A Maxon account was automatically created for all ZBrush Legacy license owners when Pixologic merged with Maxon.
- If you have never accessed your Maxon account, reset your password to setup your login credentials.
- If you no longer have access to the email address you had used to purchase your legacy ZBrush license, create a new Maxon account using your new email address.
-
Create a support ticket to request the email address change while logged in under the account that shows your legacy license.
- If you had to use a different email address than what your license had been registered under, tell us what your old email address had been.
- Be aware that for reasons of protecting your license security, we will also need to ask questions to confirm your identity before we can complete the change.
- Wait for your ticket to be updated. We aim for a 24 hour turnaround on tickets barring weekend and holidays.
-
Go to the ZBrush ID Profile page and update your email address. Replace your old email address with the new one.
- DO NOT add the new address as an additional address or the licensing system will not work.
- If you cannot log into your ZBrush ID, register instead using your new email address. The unused login will have no effect.
You can now log out of My Licenses and back in again under the new email address, with full access retained to your legacy license.
