macOS: Double Header

If you launch ZBrush on macOS and see two title bars at the top of the window, this is caused by the macOS Tab Bar feature being enabled for the application.

When the Tab Bar is active, macOS adds an additional header above the ZBrush interface. This can result in:

• A visible double header at the top of the window
• Cursor offset issues where clicks appear slightly above or below the intended location

To resolve this:

  1. Make sure ZBrush is the active application.

  2. In the macOS menu bar at the very top of the screen (next to the Apple icon), click View.

  3. Select Hide Tab Bar.

The extra header will disappear immediately.

If you continue to see scaling or cursor alignment issues after hiding the Tab Bar, fully quit and relaunch ZBrush.

This setting is controlled by macOS and may re-enable itself depending on system preferences or macOS updates.
