Knoll Light Factory Deprecation

Knoll Light Factory was discontinued in March of 2023 and is no longer distributed in newer Red Giant updates. We now offer Real Lens Flares, which is considered a much faster, measurably more realistic, entirely rebuilt lens flare plugin that incorporates optical models and ray traced lights.

Users looking to reinstall Knoll Light Factory will need to contact support for the VFX 2023.2.0 installer, which was the last installer to include it.

There are several things to note if you decide to continue using Knoll Light Factory:

It is not compatible with the latest Adobe Premiere or After Effects versions.
It is not compatible with the latest Mac or Windows operating systems.
We do not offer any support for it outside of providing installers.
