Why am I getting a "Some install packages unavailable" notification when I install Magic Bullet Looks for Cinema 4D 2023.2 and newer?

For Cinema 4D-only users, it's perfectly safe to click "OK" and proceed with the installation of Magic Bullet Suite. Once finished, you'll be able to use the latest version of Magic Bullet Looks inside Cinema 4D 2023.2 and later without any issues.

As of Cinema 4D 2023.2 and later, you'll need to install the Magic Bullet Suite to use Magic Bullet Looks in Cinema 4D. This decision was made to ensure that our customers are using the most up-to-date version of Magic Bullet Looks, as the release cycles of Cinema 4D and Magic Bullet may differ.

Before Cinema 4D 2023.2, Magic Bullet Looks was integrated into Cinema 4D. However, this integration meant that users wouldn't always be using the most recent version of Magic Bullet Looks.

For most customers, installing the Magic Bullet Suite does not result in the "Some install packages unavailable" notification.

However, if you are a Cinema 4D-only user and do not use After Effects, Premiere, or any of the host applications the **Magic Bullet Suite plugins are developed for, you might encounter the following:

The reason for the notification is the majority of our Red Giant plugins require a host application, for example, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere, but again, for Cinema 4D-only users, it's perfectly safe to click "OK" and proceed with the installation of Magic Bullet Suite. 

**You may ask yourself, "Isn't Cinema 4D a host application?" The answer is yes, but Cinema 4D only utilizes Magic Bullet Looks. Other host applications are required for the other plugins in the Magic Bullet Suite, of which there are several.
